About this Campaign

I have taken Shelfie (Shell + Selfie Stick) from the original idea I had for it into a fully functional, design prototype. This involved several CAD design + 3D Print iterations over the course of a year. I worked closely with the awesome design and engineering team at OtterBox Products to make Shelfie work seamlessly with the OtterBox uniVERSE case system.

The models you see in the video and photos are all 3D printed and incorporate the functionality of Shelfie. I have also had OtterBox product engineering view and comment on the designs. 

In addition, I have worked with a mold manufacturer and fabricator here in good old USA to get formal quotes and fabrication cost estimates for injection molding the components that make up Shelfie. 

Shelfie works with the OtterBox uniVERSE Case System. It is available in Black or White and for the iPhone 6, 6s, 7 and 7s models.

With adequate funding, the leverage and distribution channels OtterBox can provide, the recognizable brand name recognition and reputation for the best products in their class that OtterBox has earned over the years and a strong fan base of Kickstarter and Social Media fans, WE can make this happen!!
